What does the Web App Rocket audit check?
It reads your public pages the way Google and AI assistants do, then reports every place buyers may not be able to find, read or trust you — rolled into one score out of 100, RocketRank™, with a plain-English explanation for each finding.
Eight areas, one RocketRank™
RocketRank™ blends your Google search (SEO) score, your AI search (GEO) score and, when you've run one, Citation Integrity. The other areas sit alongside it so you see the full picture.

How an audit works
From pasting your address to a ranked list of findings.
- 1
Add your website
Paste your address and tell us which platform it's built on — Lovable, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and many more.
- 2
We read your pages
The scan finds your pages from your homepage, sitemap and llms.txt, then checks each one. A progress screen shows what's being checked.
- 3
You get RocketRank™
One overall score with a Google search (SEO) and AI search (GEO) breakdown, shown as gauges on your Overview.
- 4
Every finding explained
Each issue says what it is, why it matters and how to fix it, with a severity so you know what to tackle first.
RocketRank™ in plain English
One number, built from real checks — not a vanity metric.
What it measures
How easy your site is to find on Google and in AI answers. Each area starts at 100 and loses points for open problems, weighted by how serious they are. Checks we couldn't measure (for example when a data source was unavailable) don't count against you.
RocketRank™ vs CiteRank
You may see "CiteRank" in older material. It was an earlier name for the same score. Today RocketRank™ is the only overall score; Citation Integrity is a separate, on-demand check that feeds into it.

What the audit doesn't do
- It doesn't change your site. It only reads public pages. Fixing is a separate step you control — see how fixing works.
- It can't see behind logins. Pages that need a password, or that only appear after heavy scripts run, may be missed.
- It doesn't guarantee results. A better score removes obstacles; it can't promise rankings, traffic or AI citations.
- Some data comes from outside services. Speed and backlink data depend on third-party sources; if one is unavailable, that check is marked as not measured rather than failed.
- Local checks are limited. We read your homepage's business details, not your map listings.

Audit questions
How long does a Web App Rocket audit take?
Audit time depends on the number of pages and which checks run. You can follow progress in the app; large sites take longer.
Is the first audit really free?
Yes, your first full audit is free once per account, with no card. After that a full audit costs 240 Credits — the cost is shown before you run it, and purchased Credits never expire.
What is the difference between RocketRank™ and CiteRank?
RocketRank™ is the only overall score in Web App Rocket. CiteRank was an earlier working name for the same score and is no longer used. There is no second, separate score.
Does the audit change anything on my website?
No. The audit only reads your public pages, the same way a search engine would. Nothing is changed until you choose to apply a fix yourself.
Is Citation Integrity part of every audit?
No. Citation Integrity is an optional on-demand check you run on a page when you want it, powered by CiteAbility. It costs 60 Credits per page — the cost is shown before you run it — and once run, it feeds into your RocketRank™. No audit guarantees that an AI assistant will cite you.
Will a higher score guarantee more traffic or AI citations?
No. The score shows how easy your site is to find, read and trust. Fixing issues removes obstacles, but no tool can promise rankings or that an AI assistant will name you.
